Giovanna Dunmall is based in London and writes about travel, the arts, architecture and design for publications such as the South China Morning Post, Economist online, the National, COLORS, Conde Nast Traveller, the Independent, Guardian,, Frame, Mark, Azure, Sleeper, Metropolis, Blueprint and Wallpaper*.

She also does editing, copywriting and translation work (from Italian, French or German into English). She often travels for work and pleasure, most often to Belgium (where she grew up) and Italy (where she has lived) but also further afield. She is a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers.
